My name is Ashley Gazes. I am the founder and current President of SPEAC, Special Advocacy Coalition. This group was created so people who are differently-abled can have a voice in their community. Our mission is to discuss every day issues such as opportunities for community connections, housing, employment and transportation. Everyone in the this group is a leader in the self-advocacy movement and a strong advocate. We are all in this together. Our doors are always open to welcome new people into our team. Sometimes leaders from our community and surrounding areas show up in support. SPEAC appreciates the support from the Friedberg JCC where our monthly meetings are held.
